Ive stayed at the Mirage three different times now, and havent even considering staying anywhere else. My favorite things: 1. Location- You are centrally located on the strip and you can save money by limiting your cab rides. 2. Room- Very clean, very spacious, and bed/pillows are fantastic. Most comfortable hotels I have ever stayed in. 3. Atmosphere- There is plenty to do gambling wise (and otherwise.) I enjoy playing poker there, and the table games like roulette and craps are great there. I have stayed at MGM (enjoyed it), and visited many rooms of friends at other places, and I believe the Mirage is by far the best value.

  • Best on the strip

When I go to Las Vegas, which is quite frequently, the Mirage hotel is always at the top of my list of places to stay. It appeals to me because of the South Pacific theme that runs throughout the hotel. I also like it because it's not overly huge and you don't get lost like some of the other hotels which seem like small cities. The pool area is probably the top reason why I choose the Mirage over and over. When I'm out by the pool, it really feels like I'm away, at some resort in the Caribbean or something. The waterfalls, the scenery, everything. I don't rate it 5 stars only because I think the Mirage needs to upgrade their lounge chairs and somehow limit the amount of people sometimes...it can get way overcrowded. However, I find that if I get to the pool either early in the morning or late in the afternoon, it's the best time to grab a lounge. As for the restaurants, I have only eaten at the poolside cafe and BB Kings and both were good. The prices are average for Las Vegas, but BB Kings has happy hour every day. I have never enountered any rude staff at the Mirage. Everyone has always been friendly. The parking garage is just a few steos to the hotel, or you can choose to use valet. The rooms at the Mirage are average, they are not overly huge, and the bathrooms, as some have mentioned are quite small, but if only two people are sharing a room, it's not a problem. I love the volcano at the Mirage, and every time I see it, it just amazes me, as do the fountains at Bellagio. As for location on the strip, it can't be beat. It's in the best proximity to most attractions. All in all, I would recommend the Mirage as a great place to stay.

Our experience at the Mirage was really good. The facility was very clean. Even though it was busy, we never seemed rushed or hurried by any of the staff. The entire staff was couteous and anyone we had contact with was able to answer questions. We would surely recommend the Mirage to anyone who might be visiting Las Vegas. Even though we were there for business, we appreciated the efforts of all the staff. We had a wonderful experience there!
