We had a wonderful time at the Mirage! Great location in the heart of the strip. We had to stay in a double Queen room our first night due to a convention that was in town, however, they moved us to a King the very next day....WITH a beautiful view of the STRIP!!! The bed was amazing..probably the next type we'll get, tempurpedic with feather pillows...amazing. The volcano show each night (several times) was incredible - the heat from the flames and sound of the drums, wow. The single deck Black Jack $10 min was also awesome - - we loved Donna!! Overall, we loved it and would go back in an instant...hopefully sooner than later!

I was in Las Vegas for a work related conference and the hotel provided good service for my particular stay. The price was was reasonable, the crowd was not too snooty nor too depressing looking. The only bad experience I had was a drunk patron knocking on my door trying to get in my room. I believe he was on the wrong floor, but I called security and they came to escort him elsewhere. I can't blame the hotel b/c that type of stuff comes with the territory. Oh, almost forgot, they charge extra for the complete gym area, meaning, I only had access to the cardio equipment and not the weights, steam room and stretch area. (extra $25 a day for that).

This was my first time to Las Vegas, and I wanted a hotel that was in a good location so I could see everything. This was the place to be. I stayed 3 nights, and upon check-in I asked for 2 queen beds for my mom and me, and they got that with no problems. I then asked for a strip view, and she acted as though none were available, but alas! one opened up right then. The view of the strip was amazing and there was a perfect view of the spewing volcano in front of the hotel. The beds were extremely comfortable. The bathrooms were nothing to write home about, but they were nicely designed and have everything you need. We were wanting to not spend a lot on food so we could spend it all on shows. Our first night we ate dinner across the street, and it was great and reasonably priced. The next morning we again went across the street to Denny's for breakfast. We stayed on that side of the strip and walked to the opposite end to see all of the hotels. Once we got to the end, our legs were worn out and so were we, so we paid $5 for the monorail at MGM, which stopped at Harrah's/Imperial Palace, which just happens to be directly across the street from the Mirage. We were so happy to discover this, since we didn't want to walk anymore. Our first night, we were exploring our hotel and walked out the side of the hotel by Starbucks and Rhumbar. Once we got to the street, we looked to our right and there were the Forum Shoppes at Caesar's Palace. It was right next to our hotel! That night, we got the Dinner+Show package at the Mirage, and were able to have a great 3 course dinner at kokomo's and enjoy the Love show at our hotel. Our 3rd night, we were going to a show at Wynn. We discovered that there is a free tram that goes from the Mirage to Treasure Island. The Fashion Show Mall is just a sky bridge away from TI, and then there is another sky bridge that goes from the mall to the Wynn. We were so glad to discover this because it kept us off of the streets and away from long waits at crosswalks. Overall, the location of the Mirage is ideal. You can access the entire strip, and there are other means of transportation closeby so you won't have to pay a lot on taxi rides or hurt your feet by walking non-stop. The food was great, but beware, on Saturdays and Sundays, if you want the lunch buffet, you have to pay for the champagne brunch even if you don't plan on having any champagne. The slots were good, but there were a lot of Progressive machines. If I go back to Las Vegas, I will absolutely stay at the Mirage again.

I will definitely stay at the Mirage the next time I'm in Las Vegas. The staff at the hotel was great. The room was very clean. It was quiet from inside our room. The pool was fantastic. There are tons of restaurants inside the hotel to choose from. The location is perfect. The only thing I would change is the resort fee we had to pay when we checked in. I'm still not sure what it was for. Other than that, it was the best place I've stayed in Vegas.
