Only problem was the $25 plus $3 "resort" fees that you pay every day. But this is the same with all the strip hotels. Problem is that you have no idea what you get for that fee. I only used internet service. The pool was closed!! So I am not sure what the "resort" was? Restaurants are VERY expensive - but then again, so are ALL strip hotels in Vegas.

My husband and I planned to stay at the mirage for our 1st yr wedding anniversary. The hotel is about 4 miles or so from the airport and was about a $30 cab ride. Check in was relatively quick and simple. The lobby and hotel itself is a bustling Vegas casino. Lots of action, smoke, etc. When we got to the room, the bed was made, however the carpet was not vacuumed and there was a good amount of dust on the desk and side tables. Also, there were water spots on the sink which told us it was not properly cleaned either. This was very disappointing given we had just come off of a 6+ hr trip! Day after day when we come back to our room only our bed was made, nothing was vacuumed or dusted and the bathroom was not cleaned, only the towels were changed. The room had a view of the mountains and the strip. Also, the room did not have a fridge. This is important given that you may want to have cold drinks, food etc. After visiting other hotels such as the aria, bellagio, caesar's and the cosmopolitan, I was blown away in comparison. In my opinion, especially if you are on a romantic getaway or staying for more than 2 nights, spend the extra money to stay at one of those places. This is not a 4 star hotel especially by vegas standards. The only pros were that the hotel was in a very good location on the strip(walking distance), the grounds and lobby of the hotel are well maintained and it had a very comfortable bed.

Overall, the hotel was good. I do have a couple of complaints. The $20/day resort fee should include access to the dolphins/tigers. This will cost you an extra $17 per adult (including guest discount). My staff/service rating is only average because the maids neglected to leave new towels one day, and we had to use hand towles after our showers. Besides this, the Mirage is a very nice. I woud recommend it, and would book again.

The hotel was great. The only problem was the people in the adjoining room were sooooo loud. Every night they would fight and yell. The security that monitors the floors should have caught it.
