The newly renovated rooms are just amazing! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. The pool is beautiful and the atmosphere chill--cool people having a good time. The restaurants are great; don't waste time taking a trip down the strip when great food is at your doorstep! The gambling is a heck of a good time with reasonable buy in at the tables, nice dealers and live musicians to keep the night hip and lively. Overall, the "historic" Tropicana is the perfect modern Vegas get-away!

We really enjoyed the big pool on the hot days. The entire stay was comfortable. The Tropicana had a nice cheaper cafe in the basement by the Casino that we found, it was nice to get a break from the expensive food on the strip.

Was not sure what to expect, but I'm so glad I chose the Tropicana. The room was very c lean, was asked each day if we needed anything, it was just great. Felt very welcome the minute we entered the hotel. All staff was wonderful. Went down for coffee one morning and didn't get the door shut tight, a few minutes had passed when security came by to check on us. Didn't expect that, but made me feel even safer than I already did. Plan to stay at the Tropicana the next time I go to Vegas.

The bed, room decor, and especially the linens were luxurious. The hotel itself was was well located...easy to walk to other hotels on the strip. The colors of the Registration area are garish and not welcoming. The hotel theme of island decor, could be done better. The pool area is from the sixies and very nice.
