We happened to be staying on a night when it was unseasonably warm -- 80 degrees. But the hotel had not yet activated the A/C in the hotel, so we spent a stifling, hot night with the window open to the noisy back of the building, where construction was going on. We live in a first world country -- the A/C should work all the time! The hair dryer didn't work, either. The location was excellent, but we're not likely to stay here again.

We happened to be staying on a night when it was unseasonably warm -- 80 degrees. But the hotel had not yet activated the A/C in the hotel, so we spent a stifling, hot night with the window open to the noisy back of the building, where construction was going on. We live in a first world country -- the A/C should work all the time! The hair dryer didn't work, either. The location was excellent, but we're not likely to stay here again.

We loved the Seneca for its location, but the door locks require tricks for opening, and the bathroom sink faucet was a trickle. Overall, though, we would definitely stay there again. The kitchenette was a nice plus.

This Hotel was not lavish but a great value. It is especially clean and comfortable. It has a European feel to it. The staff is especially polite and helpful. A concierge would be nice but the doorman was a big help to 2 guests on our first visit to Chicago. We were delighted and intend to visit again !

The hotel front desk staff was rude, the room was dirty, the t.v. was broken,the light in the shower was exposed, the iron didn't work and the front desk could have cared less. NEVER AGAIN will we stay there!"
