Maybe we were lucky, but we were placed in a large, clean suite with a full kitchen and sitting room and a great view of the John Hancock tower. We were high enough to hear little traffic noise - and the air conditioning worked well. We arrived early in the day (by train) so we probably got the first available suite room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Many sites and restaurants were within walking distance of the hotel. The bathroom was fairly small, but everything worked properly. If they keep renovating the rooms, this will become a top-notch old hotel. I would be very happy to stay there again.

The Seneca is quaint & quiet but close to The Mag Mile. It was clean & close to everything... the kitchenette was a real perk & the room was comfortable. We would stay here again.

I really enjoyed our trip to Chicago. We were right across the street from the Hancock Observatory. We also visited the Navy Pier and Museum of Science & Industry and a boat ride. The hotel was close to many shops and restaurants.

The Seneca hotel is a neat old building right off of Michigan Ave. in Chicago. It's close to major shopping and bigger chain hotels. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, the staff very accomodating and friendly. Restaurants were priced reasonably for good food.

Nice hotel with a great location...very European in style. Staff is great.. from the doorman to the desk clerk.. always friendly and willing to assist. Great on site restaurant for breakfast and lunch. The Seneca will continue to be my home away from home in Chicago.
