Hotel located right next to John Hancock building. Easy walk to Visitor Information Center where we were able to jump on (and off) a trolley to see the downtown Chicago highlights. Our room was a great value with spacious suite and kitchenette. Very clean. All around comfortable accomodations.

The rooms and location of the Seneca hotel were wonderful. We could walk everywhere we wanted - the beach, Hancock Building, Water Tower Place. The restaurant is excellent value for the money. The desk staff and concierge were extremely friendly and accommodating. There was a major glitch in the room reservations but after 20 minutes everything worked out perfectly. I highly recommend this hotel.

If you want a hotel which is convenient clean and great breakfast this is the place for you. This was our first visit to Chicago/Taste of Chicago June 24-27. The staff was terrific and went out of their way to be helpful and pleasant. This hotel is located next door to the John Hancock Observatory and Magnificent Mile is only two blocks away. The public transportation is very convenient.. no need to rent a car. Taking a water taxis to Chinatown was great. Im recommending this hotel to all of my friends. Now Im a fan of Garrett Popcorn...

Our room was spacious, there was plenty of room for my husband and I and our 2 teenage sons. We were visiting colleges. The beds were very comfortable! The room had 4 big closets, two that you could walk into. The bathroom was fine, it looked like it was recently remodeled. I liked the 3 way vanity mirror. It wasn't perfectly clean when we got there (washcloth and towel from previous guest in the drawer, and around the base of the toilet was dirty but they cleaned it) The kitchenette had everything anyone would need, even though the cabinets were a bit old. The breakfast was very good. We were supposed to get free breakfast everyday but they gave us 6 coupons instead of 12. It was fine we probably would not have eaten there every day anyway. The location of the hotel was really great- Water Tower and American Girl were steps away (we saw lots of little girls and dolls), restaurants within walking distance and shopping. The Visitors Center was a few blocks away where we got CTA 3 day passes to take the bus and train around town. Parking was outrageous. We paid $*a day just to have our car sit there. I would recommend trying to find some other alternative. We would stay here again for sure.

Is what greeted us and it was the same throughout our stay. The room was very nice and very clean. The only complaint (if you can even call it a complaint) is that the bathroom was so small you could not turn around in there. Other than that, it was a very pleasant experience and I would definitely stay again. The location is incredible, walking distance from everything we needed, and a cab always at the ready if it was somewhere further away. All in all worth every penny, and then some.
