The hotel is located near back bay attractions. But, rooms are tired and apparently linens don't get thorough cleaning. A Rap Group was parked in their bus in front of the hotel....unbelievable noise!

The Midtown Hotel is definitely a great find. It's highly affordable, safe, comfortable, quiet, clean, and literally one minute away from a T stop. The staff proved very helpful with travel questions, and went out of their way to make sure my keycard was consistently working after I had some issues with it. Located next to a main street, there are plenty of restaurants around (and, again, being near a T stop easily opens the whole city to you), and they even provide a shuttle to take you to the airport, if you need. The only issue we experienced, really, was trying to find our room: the hallways are a bit confusing. (They're also a bit stingy with their internet rates in the lobby, but that's more of a nit-picky issue than a real problem.) Anyway, you can't go wrong here, especially if you're on a budget!

Had a wonderful time at the Midtown Hotel, Boston. What a convenient place to stay with access to many great tourist attractions. I loved the location, the price and the warm welcome from all the staff. All was good.

This hotel had very nice staff that greeted me and took care of a billing issue on my credit card. The lobby was clean and inviting, although it could use a little more decor or color to increase comfort even further. The room was a on the dark side, so more lighting would be appreciated. New carpet would have been nice too, and would have felt more up-to-date, brighter, and clean.
