We began staying there when my son worked for luxury resorts and we now keep coming back because we are happy staying there. Staff is very friendly,free internet, beach and pool are steps away. Water taxi, restaurants, shopping and entertainment are also within walking distance. Very close to the airport, only a 14.00 taxi ride. My family and I stay there several times a year.

The Bahia Mar wasn't bad. There staff was very pleasant and kind. I did not like the fact that our room was at another building and to talk to them I had to walk over to the lobby (the phone was not working). My insert key did not work so we had to replace it and then the one my husband had stopped working too, we left if like that. We stayed there 9 days and on one of the days we did not get our room cleaned, nor did we get fresh towels or the bed changed. I spoke to the manager and she said that it was not acceptable. She had them come to freshen up the room early next morning. The Pool was great, but the drinks were expensive. On our first morning there we went to eat breakfast from the buffet. The food was barely warm and we ended paying $50 with the tip and it was only two of us. We did not eat at the hotel again. My favorite part of the hotel was the bed and pillows. They were very soft. The location was excellent and very close to the beach, Las Olas and all the strip. Loved that part.

This hotel was good for the amount of money spent. We were able to check in 2 hours before check in time. I liked the location of the hotel and that it had a walk over to get to the beach. My view was decent- side ocean and also a view of the pool. I ate at the Sea Breeze Bar & Grill - although it was a bit pricey- the food was very good (i had penne w. pesto sauce and shrimp). The pool was decent w. plenty of cushioned chairs & pillows. Staff was friendly. And I loved the cookies that they give you when you check in! Only negative that i had was w/ the bathroom tub - my drain was clogged so after one shower the tub was full w/ water and OH - the water that ran from sink & tub was a yellow tent! However on an overall... the hotel was good for the price.
