I stayed at the Mayfair in February and although it was a business trip I had a great time. The staff was wonderful and extremely helpful.I was traveling alone but always felt safe at the Mayfair. The rooms are cozy but very elegantly decorated. They have everything you need, even a free DSL access.The beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept on. I will definitely stay there again and will recommend that lovely hotel to my business associates, friends and relatives.

We had a great time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We hadn't been to NYC in a few years and they helped us find great places to eat in Soho and Little Italy. The beds were so comforable and the rooms were complete with computers. Thansk Mayfair

Bed bugs are a huge issue for me. I was not happy to find them in my bed. The Bell Hop came to the room when I noticed the problem and when I showed him the bugs, he brushed them onto the floor and said I should get my stuff and meet him back down in the lobby. He didn't even offer to help move my two bags, not until I was back in the lobby in fact. At that point I was told I would be charged for the room even if I chose not to be moved to a new room.

I loved this hotel. The staff treats you like you are part of the family always greeting you by your name and the rooms have free computers and internet, irons and hairdryers. I will certainly stay here every time I come to NYC.
