I have stayed at several hotels in Miami but no hotel stay compares to my stay at the Lowes Hotel.The Hospitality was above and beyond. They made my stay there so comfy that I never wanted to leave my hotel.

This was my third stay at the Loews. Each stay has been consistent with clean, rooms, excellent service and great amenities. From the moment you arrive at the hotel, the staff is warm, friendly and over accommodating. From the person opening the front door, to front desk, concierge and pool staff you are always greeted with a smile. Rooms are clean and nicely appointed. The Keurig coffee makers in the rooms are a nice touch. The pool area is gorgeous though a bit overcrowded. You have to get their early to ensure a chair. For anyone not familiar with South Beach be aware that the area is expensive and you pay extra for everything! Any food or beverage in the hotel comes with an automatic 18% gratuity, and don't be surprised when a cup of coffee is $5 and one drink by the pool is $18. This is typical of South Beach. You must also pay to have use of beach chairs and umbrellas. Wifi and the fitness center also come with a fee but if you join Loews YouFirst program and stay at least 2 times these items will eventually be included and you will benefit from many other perks of the program. The location of the Loews is excellent! You are within walking distance of Lincoln Road, Ocean Drive and anything else worth seeing or doing. The Loews is very different from the Art Deco style hotels that are synonymous with South Beach. It has more of a 'resortish' feel. The hotel is also 'kid friendly' with many scheduled activities to give mom and dad a break. Overall the Loews is a great place to stay and would recommend it.

06/09/2012Beautiful hotel, great south beach location. staff very pleasant and helpful. arrived a bit early which was not problem at check-in..received room upgrade without requesting.
