The Loews Hotel is certainly one of the nicest faciliites in South Beach. Its close to many great restaurants within walking distance, and has a fabulous pool and is just steps to the turquoise waters of Miami Beach But it's their staff that really sets this hotel apart. They are friendly, courteous, yet don't hover in an obvious ploy for tips. My children (15 and 22) and I had a great stay. The only thing that marred our visit on our last night there were other visitors to the hotel who carried on in the halls late into the night. This is a classy hotel, and their loud merry making was out of place. I'd recommend this hotel to others.

Love, love, love The Loews. Perfection all around. The staff by the pool remembered my name so I felt right at home each day as I sat out catching some sun and sipping drinks. The hotel was undergoing renovations while I was there but I hardly noticed. Everything was kept clean and tidy. The one drawback: I would return to the Loews more often if it wasn't so expensive. It's easily $600 a night. But considering there is a private beach and pool, it's par for the course in Miami.
