It could have been a very pleasant stay except for the fact that we were put in a smoking room which I didn't realized not until I went to bed. I specifically requested for a non-smoking room because of my allergy. As a result, I was sick the next day, didn't get enough sleep and wasn't able to enjoy my last day in Portugal. It would have been nice if all the reception clerks were friendly, so with the Manager on duty The rest of the staff were nice and helpful most especially the bell boys.

Airport is not far from downtown so really all hotels. Hotel is not in center of all action but is 6 to 10Eu cab ride from anywhere you need to go. Very nice, very clean room. Very profesional staff. Small pool on roof have nice view CM

We were very pleased with this hotel and highly recommend it. The staff were courteous and helpful, looking after our luggage and placing it in our rooms when we checked in early. The rooms, and bathrooms, were spotless and well furnished, comfy beds too. The view from the roof over Lisbon is spectacular.....plus there is a great outdoor rooftop swimming pool. You can't beat it for location, we took the subway daily(good fun) and its a short cab ride to the airport.There is a very friendly neighbourhood family restaurant a few metres away. We had two double rooms, two double beds in each, and the value was unbeatable. And let me say that the Portuguese people are as friendly and helpful as you'll meet anywhere(French folks should take notes!). posted by Toronto couple July 2008
