Parking was underground and cheaper than some in the area. The free WiFi was nice and I can't understand why anyone would not make it a standard much like a TV or towels in this day and age. It was right across from the famous ducks and my wife visited their lobby. Staff was incredibly helpful with everything we asked and helped out on booking our Graceland tour. We did not know it was Elvis week when we went and it still worked out very well. It is right down from the baseball park and close to Beale St. Very convenient.

No parking available for hotel guests, really???

While checking in the front desk informed me I would have to park in the parking garage down the street, not sure how a hotel who has their own parking garage runs out of parking but I wasn't very pleased. The hotel was ok but it sure didn't look like any other holiday inn I have stayed at before, a little below average in my opinion for the money.

Good points: close to Beale St and lots of restaurants. Most of the staff were friendly, although one staff member on dayshift left the impression that he just didn't want to be bothered having to answers pesky questions. The beds were comfortable. they had a lots of pillows on the beds, some soft & some firm. It had its own attached parking garage. Bad points: the elevators were extremely slow. My husband carried our luggage down 10 floors when we left because he got sick of waiting for the elevator. The place was old and you cound hear doors slamming and people going by in the hallway. Traffic noise was very loud but they did provide soft foam earplugs to compensate. We had sound machines and after the first night we became accustomed to it. Twice during our three days stay our key cards did not work and had to be reprogrammed.

Just stayed one night in Memphis, but it was a great location and easy to access. Although you have to pay, convenient parking garage. Would stay again if I had to be in downtown Memphis.

Avoid using there parking faciclity or Be ready to pay for extra parking if you drive, lot of cheaper parking places within 200 mts from the hotel.
