It's an older building, in the process of being refreshed. Otherwise clean and comfortable. The complementary continental breakfast wasn't open until 7AM, a little late for most busy travelers.

Have stayed here many, many times because the people are very friendly and the price is always the best. The building seems to be a bit more run down. If you have a fear of elevators request a lower level room. Neither elevator worked well while we were there. One bounces when it gets to the lobby and then goes back up to another floor before opening the door. The other merely groans while operating. Don't count on extras. The free continental breakfast consisted of cold pastries in a dark unheated bar in winter. I must say that the coffee was quite good and that's mostly all we were interested in.

Stayed one night, they are renovating the bar. They should just vacuum and clean the place. We found empty bottles under the bed. Toilet was dirty, hallway carpeting old, stained, dirty everywhere. Breakfast was terrible. Stay somewhere else.

This place isn't much to look at. The furniture is chipped, the walls dinged, the carpet could use replacing and the bed was hard and lumpy. Our telephone did not work, a fact we didn't discover until our last night there and we needed a wake-up call. All that said, it was clean and fairly quiet. The staff was good and when we did need that wake-up call they sent someone up in the morning to knock on our door. The free continental breakfast is pretty standard and ho-hum. Plain bagels, bread, cereal and danish. All in all I figure you get what you pay for and it could have been a whole lot worse for our money. There is an excellent Mexican restaurant across the street, but it is pretty much in an area where finding places to eat was a problem.

had to go to front desk to tell them that there was no more coffee during the breakfast hours. Staff did not clean room then desk clerk got mad when asked for clean towels Towel rack fell off the wall. Not a pleasant stay
