Room was old ,rust on hinges, 1" gap under door and light through the edges did not make me feel safe. All rooms seemed to have the same gap under the door. We had to stuff a towel under the door to feel like insects or whatever did not crawl In overnight.expected more out of the chain

My wife had an early morning flight, so we need a place to get some sleep starting at a fairly early hour. The air conditioner made enough noise to cover most sounds outside, so do not know if anything went on. The was a small fridge, small microwave and small coffee maker in the room. It was spacious for the price, but it would have been nice to have a loveseat and not just one side chair. Staff was friendly, courteous, and informative. Continental breakfast had a good variety of items to choose from. For a basic room to spend the night, it was a very good value.

I stayed at the Comfort Inn Raymond James because it was the closest hotel to Steinbrenner Stadium where I was visiting. It was well worth it. The room was nice and clean with all the amenities I needed (iron, board, hairdryer, fridge, microwave). The front desk manager, Vanessa, was very professional, helpful and polite. The pool area was so well kept; I actually had no intention of going to the pool but I changed my mind after seeing how weel kept it was. And the complimentary breakfast was delicious. There were a lot of older people there, much older than me, but they were regulars who stay at the hotel every year while visiting the stadium, and they were all very friendly and agreed that this hotel was the best bargain for what you get. Also, the driver of the hotel shuttle was such a cool guy, and really attended to the hotel's patron's with care. I would truly recommend anyone who's visiting the West Shore area to see the Yankees or the Buccaneers to stay at this hotel. You will be pleasantly surprised.
