The Staff is very friendly and will help you with your questions about San Francisco. The location is great, you have the troley in the door which takes you to downtown, cafes, restaurants, laundry and a rent a car in a 3 blocks radio

Handy for Espetus Brazilian restaurant, definitely check out the Pause wine bar happy hour right next door (though the $5 appetizers were a lot better than the wines imho), and of course Cafe Trieste right across the street. A handy walk to the Mission, which is why I stayed there. Not at all bad for the money. I'll definitely put this on my list of places to stay when I go "out on the town" from the East Bay.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Edwardian Hotel. I used to live in SF, so I didn't make use of too many services. I did notice that there were maps and flyers in the small lobby area for tourists. I was charmed by the decor and the sweet sitting areas located on each floor for reading and gathering. The room was clean and neat. It was small, but that was fine for a single traveler like me. Only drawback, the water pressure in the shower was a little weak.

We loved the location of this hotel. My husband and I brought my parents and aunt and uncle to San Francisco because they were visiting us from out of town and wanted to spend some time in the city. The Edwardian was close to all transportation which was great since we wanted to explore the city! The rooms were a little small but they were very clean and we weren't there to hang out in our room anyways. There was a cost for their internet and they don't have any complimentary breakfast, however they do have small gathering areas on each floor with free coffee. Also, depending on where your room is, the hotel IS right off Market st. so it can be a bit noisy at night.

The Edwardian hotel has a few things going for it, one of them being location as well as having decent prices. It's located on one of the main streets in SF so there are lots of great places to check out within walking distance. The staff was friendly and room keeping was pretty good. I noticed a clogged drain in the bathroom my first night and by the next day it was fixed when I got back from lunch. The room I stayed in was small, but very neatly kept and overall was pretty comfortable considering the full bed took up most of the space in the room. I would recommend this place for sure since I hardly stayed in my room except to sleep. When you're on vacation in San Fran, honestly, who stays in their room?
