Well appointed, nice room. We were lucky we were staying on an upper floor and not below where we would be facing the freeway barrier. The downside of being so close to the freeway is the noise, even through the thick windows.

Great location, it was safe but a short drive to Venice and West Hollywood. Right off Sunset which keeps you out of the horrible freeway traffic! The rooms were gorgeous and the staff was excellent. My only complaint is there was no full length mirror in the rooms, had to walk outside my room into the hallway to do a full outfit check. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a little luxury without the Bel Air pricetag

The hotel is in a good location for the tourist in LA. Venice, Hollywood, Rodeo Drive, Malibu, Santa Monica, are all fairly close by car. It is right on the highway, so be prepared for that (some noise, not a great view, but very convenient). Great view from the bar/restaurant. There were a few things that were just silly - they need to pay closer attention to the details. The shower is open, allowing water to go on the floor/against the wall causing the new wallpaper to peal. The bathroom door doesn't have a stop, so the handle is falling off from banging on the wall. The closet door hinges (with the mirror) were set so that it closed itself without a push. Overall a good hotel, it's just the details. Great value, would stay again if I needed somewhere central to the touristy spots. Enjoy!

This was a great hotel - location central to Hollywood sites and near main highways. The pool area with fireplace and cushioned seats was fun for kids and adults alike, and the rooms were well furnished and comfortable. A unique experience with friendly staff, and a welcome break from the typical chain hotels.
