Although the hotel was beautiful, the bed was highly uncomfortable. I would think that a ""luxury"" hotel would have amazing beds, but no. Valet was $25.00/day even if you didn't get your car out...there was also no other option for parking. Again, I would think that valet should be included at the price you pay for this room. Service in the dining room was decent at best, and the food was highly overpriced. Although I do not think I will ever stay here again, I did enjoy some parts of the stay. Just a little too expensive for my taste with not enough included for the price.

The staff was very friendly, informative and even upgraded our room for free. We loved the early 20th century ambience of the bar and historic portions of the hotel - plus it is across the street from the gorgeous and fascinating historic Fox Theater. We highly recommend the tour. Good location and convenient to the major tourist attractions - we walked and used the bus route 100 and 110 to get around. This place has personality, which set a very favorable tone for our first visit to Atlanta. The room was clean, with a temperpedic mattress and satisfactory layout/furniture.

11/29/2006Do not stay here! the staff hated all the people staying there for the fox. we were being singled out and harrased by police just to get in the room ...
Do not stay here! The staff hated all the people staying there for the FOX. We were being singled out and harrased by police just to get in the room after the show. ONLY 2 Elevators for the whole place! walking from the 8th floor was faster than waiting for elevator, rooms are old and falling apart. not worth it
