While I waited to check in I observed the hotel lobby and took in the beautiful site. The architecture of the building was amazing and it was something to appreciate. It was well decorated for the season, with the huge Christmas tree and festive music playing all around. I stayed in a two bedroom suite (compliments for the front desk) and the veiw was great. The rooms were clean and the comforters were very inticing (as well as comfortable) on both beds. I loved the full kitchen and everything about the suite. My biggest problem was that the bath towels were not very clean. I found strands of long hair on 3 separate sets of towels. Other than that I was pleased with my short stay.

This is my first time EVER writing a review for an online travel website hotel package. The hotel was very gracious and clean. The front desk personnel were very friendly. When I arrived late Wednesday night my original room was sold out. The desk clerk informed me that I had paid for a VERY SMALL room, but since it was sold out he would give me a SUITE for the same price. The suite was GORGEOUS! It had a full kitchen, with a living room, a LARGE KING SIZE BED, a washer/dryer and a nice bathroom. The only weird part was the shower which had a drop down knob underneath the nozzle. It took me a while to figure it out. Reading is fundamental. Had I looked on the shower wall I would have saw the instructions. I had free internet. Breakfast was delicious. This hotel is right in walking distance of the Marta and Gladys Chicken and Waffles. I will definitely stay here again, especially if I can get a suite instead of the small room.

This is the second time we stayed here. Both times we were given a huge apartment style suite with living room, kitchen area, hallway and bathroom and large closets. I agree with other reviewers that the hotel decor is a bit tired and the bathroom is small; but I found it clean, and had no problems. I think it was a good value for the price paid. The bed linens are now updated with white cotton sateen covered comforters and nice plump pillows. The ceiling fans add a nice option for a breeze at night. For location, it is across the street from the MARTA station, so no rental cars are needed if you are flying in and spending your time anywhere within the city limits. The front desk line can be slow, but maybe it is just the pace of the Southern lilfestyle. The ice water in the lobby is handy, and we caught a tray of complimentary warm chocoloate cookies one afternoon that were delicious. We have not eaten in the hotel, so I cannot comment on the restaurant. We would stay again, it is nice to have such a large space to stretch out in!

How this place got 4-Stars is beyond me. I stayed in their two-bedroom, two-bathroom suite which also had a full kitchen and washer/dryer. Although it was quite spacious, I prefer quality over quantity. The bathrooms were small and outdated. The shower curtains had mildew. They even placed me in a room with a view of the street, which of course came with noise, traffic, and sirens all night long. The service was horrible, as they said I could absolutely not check in before 3:00PM. Fine, but they then delayed my check-in until 3:40PM and offered no apologies. I got a phone call at 10:30PM from the hotel, asking me if there were any clothes left in the room. 10:30PM!!! What hotel does this and wouldn't it be their responsibility to check this during room service and the prepping of the room for the next guest? In the morning, I get an annoying tapping at the door at 8:30AM asking what time I am checking out. I thinking can't you just leave me alone? I have until 12:00PM. I cannot recommend this hotel for luxury, please avoid it. If you want a CHEAP suite, ""CHEAP"" service, and ""CHEAP"" quality then this is the place for you. P.S. I had to pay $22 a day for parking in the hotel parking garage. Unbelievably unacceptable hotel accommodations. One saving grace is that it is located immediately across from the theatre.
