Well located in the heart of downtown Chicago and in walking distance of everything we wanted to see. Walked around late at night and felt very safe. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Room was clean and quiet. I would definintely stay here again if I was returning to the city.

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency while in Chicago for business this past week and had a great experience. The room was very comfortable and updated. I had a great view of the city and the river below. One of the great things about the hotel is the central location. The hotel is walking distance from dining, shopping, and sightseeing. If you enjoy running, I definitely recommend going down to the lake (15-20 min walk from the hotel) for a jog along the boardwalk. There are several great restaurants within walking distance. Wildberry Cafe right around the corner from the hotel has delicious breakfasts. If you are in the mood for steak, you have to try Keefer's which is also walking distance. The Hyatt also has a nice fitness center on the 2nd level which has everything from free weights, jump ropes, medicine ball, to the traditional machines. There are plenty of dining options onsite at the hotel as well. Altogether, this is a great hotel and I'll definitely stay here next time I'm in town.

The Hyatt Regency off of Wacker is obviously a very large hotel, thus it is incredibly busy. Being right off of Michigan Ave., I found it less chaotic and less flooded with tourists and traffic than hotels right on the strip. The hotel is at a really great location, slightly south of the Bridge (which we were fortunate enough to also see from our room). Our room appeared and smelt clean as we entered it, upon staying I did notice how dusty the headboards were. We also did not have a refrigerator in our room. I'm not sure if we were suppose to have one or not, but in any case we did not have one-- which really was not a big deal for us. Housekeeping was pretty prompt in providing the room services and maintenance that we requested. We called for a couple extra bath towels once and they answered, but they never brought them to us. The overall stay was good. There wasn't anything about the hotel that forced me to not want to come back. Great for what it was worth!

Great hotel, location, rate & breakfast buffet included. The hotel parking is $52/day, but in the heart of an amazing city to visit. We were on the go for 4 solid days and didn't see half the sites. Streets are clean, beautiful boulevards, flowers, parks, architecture and wonderful restaurants. The Trolley/double decker bus tour is a great value (3 days/on-off), 5 tours, $35. We are headed back next year to do 4 more days!

Had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt in Chicago, centrally located. Friendly staff, comfortable beds great view. We also received a bottle of wine and a cheese and fruit plate our first night, it was delicious and a surprise.
