This is a great place for a family and in fact, the hotel was full of families. Four of us stayed very comfortably in a suite room. Complete kitchen saved money.Service was excellent throughout the hotel. Breakfast buffet was complete and filling. Very close and convenient to stores,Navy Pier, and restaurants.The only downside was expensive parking, but that was true everywhere in downtown Chicago.

The location and price were great. I work in the city and my wife (from suburbia) met me for a theatre show and night on the town. I liked the location, my wife loved the bed and pillows... The hotel is in the middle of the River North area. Trendy restaurants, tourist attractions and restaurants are abound. Keefer's to Ballo, Red Lobster to McDonald's, and everything in between. All within walking distance.

Great location, helpful staff. My main beef was on Christmas day (a Monday) the breakfast buffet was closed at 10:00 like any other Monday! Staff did bring out some crumb cake, bananas and mandarin oranges to give my wife. Over Christmas week dining room was overflowing - they opened an adjoining room to accommodate everyone. Not all rooms have fridge/microwave. Be sure you know what you're getting when you book. Nevertheless, we'd stay here again.

Lots of good things about this hotel - clean, good location, employees were courteous and helpful (couldn't have been nicer). A little pricey but that's to be expected downtown. All the comforts of home in the room. Great proximity to the EL.
