This hotel had everything we needed (though a pool or hot tub would be nice). The door men were so nice and greeted us every time offering to help with anything we needed. The location was good for seeing all the sites. It was a good place with a good price for us. My only complaint was trying to use their business room to print out our plane tickets. I tried several times and on both computers, but no luck. But these days you can use your phone to check in.

I truly enjoyed my trip to DC and stay at the Crowne Plaza. The hotel was centrally located. We walked basically everywhere. The White Hose, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial etc. The hotel was nice, clean and comfortable. We had a few well made drinks at the hotel's bar which I enjoyed very much, and it also had a nice restaurant. The concierge advised us to dine at Washington's oldest restaurant, Old Ebits Grill which was a few blocks from the hotel. It was truly an outstanding choice. Thanks to him we had an amazing dinner at a historic restaurant. So glad for choosing to stay at the Crowne Plaza. Overall this has been one of my favorite trips.

Stayed 6 nights in November '10. Room was a single King size that was very comfortable, conditions were safe and clean. The furniture (chairs) was a little dingy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I thought the location was close to the metro and there were always cabs within whistle distance. Elevators took forever to get to the upper floors, but for the most part - I'd definitely stay again. Loved the book showcasing the Hamilton on the historical Hotel register. One suggestion - eventhough your not there to watch TV, it was touch and go whether you could get a signal in the room. Also, couldn't believe you had to pay for internet service, which I didn't....as there is a Pot Bellys with free Wi-Fi on every corner! Yes, its noisy - but its DC! what isn't noisy! Also - lots of homeless in Franklin Park....but they didn't bother because there are so many people walking at all hours of the day and night!

  • Located near metro and lots of shops and food options.
