The room was very clean, and maybe a little on the small side, but served it's purpose after sight-seeing all day. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was quiet given it's setting downtown. Good location....very close to major attractions and only 1 blk. from the Metro. Food menu looked good but did not eat at the restaurant. Did have some cocktails on the patio which was a nice touch at night watching the passers by. Staff was friendly and helpful. I definitely would stay there again!

I was immediately impressed by the friendly and helpful front desk personel.
The room was very clean, with a very comfortable bed and nice furnishings. The bathroom was newly remodeled, and top of the line.
Even though we encountered a rowdy group of happy high schoolers in the hallway, once in the room, it was very quiet and peaceful.
This hotel's location is within easy walking distance of several Washington sights, including the White House.
I give this hotel an "excellent" rating for value, and for a most enjoyable stay. -

The Hotel staff is unfriendly. that is the most striking aspect of the hotel. I stayed here with my Mom last year on a vacation and it was an unpleasant experience. right from check in to check out we rarely met a member of the hotel staff that was polite.
the breakfast service in the restaurant was equally horrendous. tedious, slow, wrong order, no service and no one seemed to care. its almost as if the waiters and manager/host ( if there was one, i didnt see any) were being forced to work. the restaurant stafff was rude too.
I would not stay here again. the location is not too great either. -

We enjoyed our stay and the location was great. Bed was fantastic. The food from room service was not what it was cracked up to be. It is supposed to be the same as the food from the restaurant and if so I don?t think I would recommend the restaurant, but the bar is very nice and the staff friendly. The bathrooms could be bigger but they are more than sufficient. Overall pretty nice and I would both recommend it and I will stay there again if the opportunity arises.
