This downtown hotel is an amazing deal for the business traveler or the family here to see the sites. Conveniently located on K street NW, visitors have walking access to Metro Center and McPherson square as well as two Circulator (big red) bus routes one which will take you to Union Station or Georgetown, the other all the way to Woodly Park (zoo anyone?). There are also buses that can take you right down to the National Mall...or you can just walk it! The in house restaurant is tasty but there are also many great restaurants in the area. During the week day this is a bumping spot with a lot of offices nearby. On the weekends it is much quieter. You can usually get a pretty good deal here for such an amazing amazing (can't emphasize this enough) location.

Stayed here in January 2011. Good location, got caught in the winter storm and they let me stay another day at the "snow rate" Restaurant was also pretty good, prices were not too bad, as they often are at hotel restaurants. Only problem was the vending machines were often out of order or did not have cold drinks, but this is minor. Gym was pretty decent for a hotel gym also. I would go back....

I was unsure of what I was getting for such a low price. I was pleasently surprised when we pulled up and a valet guy beat me to opening the door. They had our things out of the car so fast I was waiting on the kids! I was very pleased with the staff who helped me plan ice skating for the kids and made sure I had directions to walk to the White House. BTW it took us all of 10 minutes to get there. Kudos to the chef who can create a tasty omelet in minutes. I thought the breakfast was extremely over priced ($51.00 for 1 adult +2 kids) but hey we were at a swank hotel. Definitely would stay again.

I love staying at this Hotel. It is situated in the heart of downtown DC and very comfortable and quiet. There is even a secure women's floor for women travelers like myself that is so great and comforting. The food is excellent as well!

This hotel is very nice LOOKING! The lobby, rooms, restaurant and decor! Is absolutely boutique style and chic..kuddos. But here is the bad part of our one night stay. We check in and hit 12th floor in the elevator and the elevator stops on every floor. Okay, maybe just a mishap but...I want a cold soda and I'm told that ice and soda machines are on the odd levels..weird but okay. I go to 11 the machine won't take my bill, I go to 9 the machine is broken, I go to 7 and success but the soda is warm..darn! Next I blow my nose with toilet paper and discard it in the toilet and it clogs! All this on Christmas night before the big snowstorm that was creeping up..
