This was a beautiful hotel. The bar was clean and staff was very friendly. The location was great as it was just a block away from Power & Light, and the valet staff was very nice as well. My only complaint was that there was an old sock at the corner of my bed on the floor. Made me question just how clean the room was. Im not the kind of person to get freaked out by something like this so i shrugged it off but others might not be as understanding. Overall, a great place to stay and i would probably stay here again if given the chance.

We had our rehearsal dinner here and it was a complete fail. Between a sales person, director, and coordinator we dealt with 3 different people. None of which were present at the dinner itself. The room was nice. The food was extremely sub par. Lettuce was wilted for the salad. The lasagna was creamy and didn't resemble much of lasagna. They served a different dessert than we chose. As well as different wine than we decided prior. Not only that, but one sales person said that they would provide table place cards with either beef or lasagna for guests to set at their seat. That was overlooked so they had to retake orders at the dinner when we had already pre-ordered. It was very disappointing to say the least. Lack of communication from sale to the event was the main problem I think. When they emailed contracts we had to go back and forth numerous times because what was stated on the paperwork was not the same as we discussed. If you even CONSIDER this place for an event at least do a tasting (which wasn't offered to us). I should have pushed or it.

This hotel more than exceeded our expectations in all categories. The service was great, the hotel was gorgeous and clean, the rooms were comfortable and spacious, the location cannot be beat, and they even have a heated entrance so that while unloading and using the valet services you don't suffer from the frigid Midwest temperatures. We even tried the on sight restaurant for breakfast and it was delicious. I would recommend this hotel again and again. In fact, we're going back soon!

The Valet dropped me off at the Sprint Center since I was late for my concert. He really saved me I would have missed the whole thing had he not done that for me!!!! Thank You Hotel Phillips for a wonderful night!!!!!!
