- Please note that the Miami Beach Resort charges a Resort Fee of 12.00 USD per day (13.56 USD including tax recovery charge), that will be collected directly by the hotel at check out. The resort fee includes daily Membership to the Fitness Center, including unlimited use of the Fitness Center Equipment, lockers, sauna, steam room and shower facilities, Pool Concierge Service offering use of reading material, floating devices, games, fresh fruit in the AM, granola bars or popsicles in the afternoon, pool towels, and cushioned lounge chairs, and in room Tea and Coffee.

First of all, we had reserved our room 6 months in advance. A Standard Room, with one Queen bed facing Biscayne, which we gladly accepted to pay a premium for the view. HOWEVER, upon checking in, we were informed there were no longer any Queen rooms available (unless we wanted a room with no view). We were told we could take a Standard 2 Double Bed room overlooking Biscayne, and the following day, we could move to an available Queen Room like we booked. "Don't worry, we'll call you". The call NEVER came, and we spent the remainder of our trip overlooking the valet parking canopy and not Biscayne, since they put us on the 3rd floor. They still charged us a premium of $* for the view though (THIS IS ONE OF THE REASONS WHY VISA INVENTED CHARGEBACKS). When we enquired about the move to the room we booked originally, we were always met with excuses. The BEST one being "sir, you booked with Travel online, not with us. It's not our problem, take it up with them." I will NEVER stay there again. The staff was the most unhelpful I have ever encountered. The hotel is in DESPERATE need of renovations & CLEANING ! It's OLD, MOLDY AND SMELLS EVERYWHERE. Some more gems from the staff: When we went to use the pool one evening (pool is opened until 11pm) we asked a staff person cleaning chairs where we could get a towel. He informed us they stop handing out towels at 6pm. We are charged a $* per day resort fee and can't get towels during pool hours ???!!! Valet Parking is $* and they don't answer phone when busy ?!?!?! THIS HOTEL IS THE WORSE. A 2 Star Hotel that believes it's a 5 Star !

We booked a King Size bedroom through Travel online for 3 nights. By the time we reached there it was 1:00 PM and the hotel crew let us wait for the room till 3:00 PM. Even after a wait of 2 hours in the lobby(didn't see such service in any other hotel) they gave us a double bed instead of king size. We had to accept as there was no other choice. After making continuous requests for 2 days, they changed us to king size on the 3 day. The Valet service provided by the hotel charges $* per day and you are forced to pay for the number of days you book the hotel (rather than how many days you used the Valet service). We were not in Miami for one complete day but forced to pay the valet service. When enquired about it we just got a cold argument in the lobby. Very unfriendly staff. It looks like hotel management's goal was to make money through their customers rather than providing meaningful service. Try to avoid this hotel as much as you can.

From check-in to check-out or stay was wonderful, the staff courteous and attentive. Room was clean and in order. It was well worth a few bucks extra for the ocenview. Valet parking with no in/out penalties. Will stay here again next trip.

My husband and I stayed there with our 3-year old for a couple of nights. We loved the hotel's location and good amenities. The swimming pool was fabulous, plus the hotel's location right on the beach provided for hours of fun between the beach and the indoors. The breakfast buffet at the Hibiscus cafe was great, but the menu options of the other restaurants at the hotel were not so great. I would recommend eating lunch and dinner out at the nearby restaurants especially the ones on the trendy Lincoln avenue. Nice friendly staff, and excellent concierge service.
