I booked this hotel for a weekend of fun with my friends. Overall, it's a very beautiful hotel-nice lobby, and a friendly staff-free wifi was great too. However, I must say, I had mixed feelings about the room. The beds were quite comfortable, and there's an amazing amount of closet space, but the furniture screamed 1890's! The CRT TV sets don't belong in a hotel of this calibre, especially considering how cheap flat panel TV's have become. Also, the bath tub was very slow to drain, meaning you have dirty water on your feet, and a dirt ring in the tub after a shower. Overall, I would recommend it to someone else, and we all liked it enough to consider staying there again, but not before checking out other options on the strip.

Nice location and loved Miami!! I will return next year for the same conference but will not stay at this Hotel again. It's sad because it has alot of history but not maintained well. More maintance which I never saw one walking around during the day or night which tells me they don't care! Mold in hallways and bedroom furniture needs replacing and case goods of rooms need updating. I'm a fellow Hotelier and I know that sometimes it's hard, but clean hallways, and guest rooms should never be issue. Thanks for your time and considering my comments! You do have friendly staff.

The hotel was ok. It was big and a bit difficult to negotiate our way around. The room had a wierd shape. The rooms were close together. I was not that impressed with the location as there was no restaurants in walking distance. We only stayed one night. We moved to another hotel that was closer to the strip. Overall a nice hotel.

They were very stingy on wash cloths they would clean our room and only leave one wash cloth and when we asked for more they were very nasty and rude to give up two more wash cloths. They charge 25$ a day for parking which is not worth it and it is suppose to be valet parking but everytime we needed our car they gave us our key and we had to go and get it. They say that kids eat for free but you have to buy food in order for them to eat for free and the morning buffet is expensive and not worth your money.

If you're looking for a nice pleasant atmosphere with great customer service and professional staff, PLEASE DON'T STAY HERE! I travelled here along with several friends for a week. I have never experienced such rude staff in all my travel. You get a lovely greeting when you pull up from the parking attendants but enjoy it while it last because the pleasantry stops there. I had one front desk associate hang up on me, the concierge proved to be very unhelpful and the staff at the hotel restaurant were rude and unprofessional. Housekeeping brought me items and when she got to the door she waved the items at me and told me not to use them until the next day. The room service attendant took $5 from me to heat up food after I was told there was no charge and yes I said to heat up food not purchase food which brings me to the next thing that made my stay here horrible. The hotel offers absolutely no amenities without there being an additional charge. There was no fridge, no microwave, and no guest lounge with a microwave available. The beds were extra small and housekeeping wouldn't even change the sheets. Also you have to have a pass to get to the beach and were not allowed out the door without it...very inconvenient. So again I say if comfort and great customer service are important to you avoid the place at all cost!
