At the corner of 6th Ave and 54th St, this hotel is central to most of what we wanted to do and has several subway stations within a block to take us to other parts of the city. The staff quickly took care of any concerns we had about the room (I guess it is common for windows to be open a little - but it was cold. Windows are locked by NYC code, but they immediately sent someone to unlock and close it. And then it warmed up in a couple of days and the A/C didn't seem to work and the sent someone to fix it). The room was a little small and the bathroom didn't have enough counter space for all the stuff two females take on vacation but it otherwise suited our needs fine. We got this hotel as a 'mystery room' at a discount rate and I was happy with it. We didn't eat at the on-site restaurants, but they looked very nice.

Wow! It's a beautiful historic hotel, very clean, amazing architecture and very well located. The service was exceptionnal, i called a week before to come to let them know that I will be there around 10 am. When I got to the hotel at 10 am my room was ready. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

The Warwick has a great location, it is within walking distance of times square, Rockafeller center, central park, and much more. We were on a higher floor so the noise was not a problem. I believe we were in a room that had not been remodled yet as the wallpaper was coming off in a few spots, otherwise the room was very large, espacially for NYC, and clean.

My wife and I were a little nervous about bidding "blindly" on a hotel in NYC but The Warwick exceeded our expectations. The location was excellent as was the staff. I have no reservations in reccomending The Warwick.
