We enjoyed our stay in Houston lot. Whenever we travel, most of the time we stay at Best Western. This time we decided to go for a change. So there is a tendency to compare. And Best Western offers a lot for the money. Like free internet, refrigerator in the room, free continental breakfast. Now the Westin is a more upscale hotel. But all the things mentioned were missing. Also the rooms can easily be compared with Best Western. That did not diminish our travel experience. But when it comes to the hotel we must say, that maybe the Westin is not as upscale as we thought, or Best Western is more upscale that we thought.

We felt that their may have been a "block" of rooms reserved for special deal rates and were not as plush as they could have been. The room was clean but again there was nothing great about it considering the Westin name.
