Room and amenities were all great and what you would expect of a W Hotel, but the excellent service and friendly staff (even by the W's standards) is what set this location apart. Will definitely be staying here again.

This was the third time I've stayed at the Seattle W hotel and will most likely return again. It's sort of a swanky masculine hotel, low lighting, quiet room, the room furniture is dark yet very tasteful. We had a king size bed and there was plenty of room to move around. The bathroom was nice though the shower was ok, not upscale, very average. The staff and service were great and it was extremely clean. No complaints there. One thing that really bothered me was the air system in the room. Really stuffy and humid plus the fan ran the whole time. Even on low, it never shut off. Also the city noise and seagulls woke me up at 6:00 a.m. No coffee maker so we ordered room service and it was quick yet pricey. My other complaint would be that when we were ready to eat breakfast the small dining area was "slammed" (as told to us by the host). A bit irritating but we ended up walking across the street to the Monoco hotel and ate in their facility (BTW it was really nice and spacious). Good location - we walked to our destinations. Parking is pricey but what isn't in the city?

Super modern decor, green apples, and "Bliss" toiletries - what's not to like? As difficult as it was to find the entrance to the hotel to drop off the luggage and the car, it wasn't fun being told that the valet parking lot was full(!) and that we had to quickly drop off our bags and circle around to the garage next door. This is after an almost three hour drive to get there. Thankfully it wasn't a big deal, but it would of nice if the bellhops wasn't so laissez faire about it. In this day and age internet should be free, especially if its free at 2-3 start hotels. Other than that, everything else was perfect. Comfortable accommodations, soft bed and pillows, ample seating areas and great views. There was a party next door and thankfully you couldn't hear a sound. Breakfast at the restaurant downstairs was excellent.

The price was at least $30.00 less than on the hotel's website which was great. The con is the bathroom was a handicap bathroom which would've been fine, but the shower head didn't raise higher than my stomach! Also, it's 2011, why isn't Internet free?

I've stayed at many W Hotels and thought that although this one was up to par with others, it wasn't as "ritzy" and cool like some of them. We stayed on a Saturday night and had anticipated it to be a hip and happening place but there wasn't much going on for guests in the hotel. It is close to restaurants in the Seattle downtown area and we would stay there again.
