room was not clean when I checked in. The front desk did not put in two wake-up calls and the room next to mine was so loud I could not sleep. All items were discussed with manager and nothing was done to correct. not worth the money!

My stay at The Omni South Park was great. The only problem was the hot tub , the water level was way low and kept getting lower each day. The one morning I ate breakfast there, everything was completely tasteless. Which is very hard for me to say because I usually eat pretty bland. But it didn't matter what it was butter, eggs, gravy, oatmeal, pineapple, the only things that had any flavor was the bacon. Even my teenage daughter complained about the breakfast. The Hotel is wonderful just eat somewhere else. I would stay there again. Internet free only in Lobby.

The construction on the highways around the hotel was a pain, but that is kind of expected in Austin. The room was lovely, quiet and clean. The bar in side was full of happy guests as was the outside pool bar. For those who still judge a hotel by its pool, this one was a nice surprise. Indoor pool is a swim through to outdoor pool, which is divided into 2 sections, one by the cocktails and one that seems more kid friendly. Southpark Omni is a little oasis in the middle of dusty hot construction!

Updated decor with double-sheeted, down comforters and comfortable beds, granite counter in the bathrooms with upgraded amenities. Friendly staff and easy walk to all the restaurants on 6th ST. Everything you need for business, except power supplies in our Lavacon meetings.
