Great location for your money!!!!

This is a great hotel to stay at if you are in NYC! Trust me, I've stayed at hotels for the same price as the Wellington that were filthy! This place has a door man, the staff look professional, and it's a charming older building. That being said, yes the furniture is a little older, and the wallpaper is slightly peeling in some corners, but it looked clean and by NYC standards, was good quality. Definitely recommend! Even my friend who had never been to NYC and didn't know what to expect and tends to be a little pickier, thought this was a great hotel with great value. And most importantly, hands down, the location cannot be beat! We saved so much $ not needing to take a cab because everything was only a few blocks away, including a 3 minute (or less) walk to the center of Times Square. I'll definitely come back to the Wellington.

The hotel is in the perfect area. We went for the holidays and it's close to Central Park, Time Square and Rockefeller Center. The room was large and the staff was nice. I was surprised that they didn't have free internet though. I will stay here again.

From check in to checking out our service was nice and friendly. Location was great, we could walk to most anywhere and the subway was right outside the hotel door. The diner in the lobby had great food so no need to go far for breakfast or a late night dinner. Our room was still being clean when we arrived (before 3pm) so the hotel bell hop had us moved to a front room with no delays. The hotel gift shop called for the shuttle bus and made all of traveling plans so much easier. I will recommed this hotel to anyone that is going to be visiting NYC and want a good value for their money.
