After reading some mixed reviews about this hotel, I still decided to book our stay for NYC. The location is a plus, yes everything is walking distance . The hotel is fairly old and needs some upgrading with paint, bathroom fixtures, & carpet but overall, the appearance of the hotel from our room point of view DID NOT RUIN our vacation. I was really surprise since all reviews claimed that most NYC hotel rooms were tight & small that we were given a room that appeared to be a suite. We expected a small room with two double beds. Our surprise came when we entered the room, big room to begin with with a Queen size bed (very comfy) 27" flat screen tv view of NYC from windows then in next room there are one full bed & a twin bed & another 27" flat screen tv;in the bigger room there's a kitchenette with fridge & m.oven & two chairs & table plus a small sitting area with sofa & table. We were able to "doggie bag" food from all the places we ate out from plus buy milk & juice for the kiddies to store in the fridge for whenever they want a drink!!! Our stay was AWESOME & NYC was unforgettable. I'd stay here again & so will my family. Thanks.

This hotel is within walking distance to Times Square and many, many other must-see sights. I loved the bell staff and their recommendations were superb for restaruants and places to go. We needed to add another room and it cost us a fortune

This hotel was clean and in a great location. A few blocks from everything! The subway is right outside the door of the hotel, there is a double-decker bus stop a block a way, the staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are smallish but comfy and clean!
