I was so happily surprised with this hotel! The location was fantastic and the price was right on the money for a weekend in the city with my Girlfriends! At the end of a long night of dancing it was so comfortable and quiet; the perfect place for a good night sleep. We were able to check in early and check out wasn't until noon so we made the most of our time in the city and in the hotel! I highly recommend this hotel!

We picked the Wellington for our first trip to New York based on its location. We were within walking distance from Central Park and Times Square. Lots of restaurants close by. It's an older hotel but very popular, I'm sure due to its location. There are subway entrances right outside the hotel doors. All hotels in New York are expensive, but the Wellington fit our needs perfectly. We were vacationing with my son and daughter-in-law for their first wedding anniversary. A first time in New York for all of us. We were both upgraded to suites upon arrival which was a very nice surprise.

The Wellington itself is a beautiful and elegant hotel. We did not want to leave. It was clean and comfortable. Its proximity was close to various good eateries and found that the subway was not too far to get to other areas of NYC. It was also alot quieter. We have stayed at various hotels in the past 10 years and this one was pretty quiet compared to others. We had arrived on an early flight to NYC and were able to have our luggage stored until the room became ready. The staff was very nice. We celebrated our 33rd first date here and did not regret anything!
