We stayed at the Wellington for 3 nights, however the room we were given had not been cleaned and looked as if someone was still staying in it. We were upgraded to a queensize room on the 11th floor. this was much better. as far as convenient to most things New York has to offer, it was very good. Subway station by the hotel, restaurants, cafes, theartes walking distance. very accessible .We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to friends etc. staff were approachable and very helpful at all times.

We had a pleasant experience. The staff was very nice and super helpful. When we were arrived our room was not available so they quickly solved the problem by giving us a bigger room! The room was clean but old. The bathroom looked liked it had been updated with new fixtures. The beds were comfy and clean. The hotel was close to all things we wanted to do in the city and overall enjoyed our experience.

I stayed there in november, was very happy with friendly service. Will definitely recommend it. Most of all, it's next door to a very good breakfast & lunch restaurant. We could walk to time square in just two or three minutes from there. Will definitely coke back hopefully in the next 2 years from now.

Planned a Girl's weekend to NYC and we wanted to be have more of the tourist experience since my friend had never been to NYC before. The location of the hotel was perfect. Right next to Central Park, Carnegie Hall, subway access and straight down to Times Square. It is an older hotel that is split into a "newer" section and the "older" section. We were in the older section, which is accessed by a short flight of steep stairs. The room was huge, unlike most NYC hotels, with plenty of room for us and our stuff. Saw that a lot of foreign tourists were using the hotel when we were there and the staff was accomindating.
