the location is great; you can go to the central park by walk. However, the quality of room is not so great. The room is too small. Well, considering the location, I should not complain this, I guess. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, but if this is the only place that you can afford to say for a few days, I guess this place is for you.

The room and bathroom were both very clean and I felt that the room was small but cozy. It's in a great location, close to Times Square, Columbus Circle, and Central Park. Staff were friendly and helpful.

This was our first trip to NYC so we didn't know what to expect from our hotel. We had been told that all NYC hotels were cramped and small but the Wellington was just the opposite!! We took our daughter to NYC for her birthday and the suite we stayed in allowed her her own space because the large living room with it's own door, tv, and closet had a sofa bed, so she basically had her own room. Our bedroom was spacious and cozy and the bathroom had plenty of space as well. The hotel staff was so friendly and always accomodating. There are bus tour stops right outside the hotel, a Starbucks right across the street, which my daughter and husband loved, and a subway entrance just around the corner. It's about a 10 minute walk to Times Square which allowed us to go and enjoy Times Square but then avoid the noise when back at our room. The restaurant at the Wellington had the best prices and the best food. You have to try the lasagna!! Food was excellent, coffee was excellent, service was the best! I cannot think of one thing I would change about this hotel experience, not one! Thank you Wellington for making our first trip to NYC the best :)

Good price for it's location. Inbetween time square and central park. The subway was right infront of the hotel but we didn't even use it becuase everything was so close by that we walked everywhere. Restaurants nearby were excellent!
