I love this hotel. I always stay in the "older" section of the hotel, but the rooms are big by NY standards (sometimes even big any standard--depends on the room). The bathrooms are all updated. the rooms may not be renovated but they are nice and any problems are corrected by the staff immediately. The location is the BEST. The subway is right out the door, and Central Park is 2 blocks away. I love the cafe downstairs. I eat breakfast there every morning. The deli catty corner to the hotel is also a great place to pick up dinner.

Great location, staff helpful. Had to have steam heat completely shut off in our room--no other way to control it. Still got hot enough that we had to crack window open at times.(in November!). We walked to Times Square, Central Park, shopping, museums and the subway. I would stay there again, although no free Wi-fi was a drag.

Hotel is not too bad. Not modern or trendy but its clean and you can't beat the location. Few minutes walk from Times Square, Rockefeller Plaza, Fifth Ave, Central Park, and so much more! The room was small and the bathroom is even smaller but we only spent time in our hotel room to sleep!

The Hotel was the best value for the price, The room was clean and serviced very well! The cafe staff were very friendly and so quick with the service. The American breakfast set me up for the rest of the day as it was huge! (a tip, you need to be in there early or you have to que for a table, it is so poular with the local office people as well!) Always a good sign! The reception staff and the concierge were very professional and helpfull with any questions or assistance, especially when ringing down for an internet connection hicup! It is so close in walking distance for Central Park, Time Square, Carnegie Hall, close to great restautants and the like it was brilliant! And no, I am not an employee writing this, I came from Australia and have stayed in many hotels for business and pleasure! Ha ha!
