undesirable housekeeping
04/10/2011The location is excellent, but the room is too hot. phone was not working, and it repeatedly missed to provide things like hair conditioner.

Our reservations were at the Wellington Hotel, but they were overbooked and moved us to their sister hotel, the Blakely. We were very fortunate, as the Blakely was very queit, well appointed with a computer available in the lobby. The service was excellent, and the rooms comfortable, even spacious for a mid-priced downtown Manhattan Hotel. We loved our stay. The elevator was a little slow in coming, but that was not really a problem. We liked the location of the hotel, and they helped us book a Gray Line tour. I recommend this hotel without any hesitation.

02/21/2011The staff were courteous. the room was clean however the bed linen was uncomfortable that is it wasnt very soft. but overall great value for the location.
