  ME Madrid is a great hotel for anyone who is going to explore Madrid's city life. The Metro is walking distance from the hotel. There are several places you can dine close by. My wife and I enjoyed our stay. We are attracted to hotels that provide friendly customer service, comfortable and clean bedroom, and access to safe and convenient transportation. MEMadrid fit the bill.

  The hotel is in a fabulous location, right on Plaza Santa Ana, which has lots of great restaurants, and is close to the Plaza Mayor, Puerto del Sol, etc. The hotel looks fabulous from the outside, but for what I paid (and I got a very good deal over the Internet), the tiny, tiny room was only mediocre, and there was a bit of a stench in the hallway. I was overall pretty disappointed.

  hotel has an excellent location on plaza de santa ana. standard room is modern, has a cool shower and lighting, but is pretty small. No view at all from the standard room that I stayed in, but i got a good deal on this website so the price was right.

  I stayed for just a couple of days in Nov 2010 on a business trip. The rooms are very nicely appointed in modern furnishings with a comfy bed and a nice bathroom. Very good location right in the heart of El Centro. The staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms are not big, but that's just part of being in a major city, and really you should just be sleeping there and spending all of your time out in the city.
