The Lombardy is a classic smaller hotel conveniently located just steps from the White House and just a few blocks from the Mall. The staff was helpful and most receptive. It was clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced.

My son and I recently spent 3 nights at the Hotel Lombardy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was a bit concerned that our room was next to the elevator, but we never heard it once. In fact, even though the hotel was full, we never heard the other guests. The beds were super comfy and the room was tastefully decorated. The bottled water offered every evening was a nice touch. It was a very short distance to the metro and close to the White House. If we go back to DC, we would definitely stay here again!
