Important Hotel Information
- This hotel requires guests to provide a valid credit card in order to check in.
- The hotel charges a 15 per night, per room resort fee (recovery fee), which will be collected directly by the hotel at check-in. This fee includes use of the following: wireless Internet, airport shuttle, local phone calls up to 15 minutes, pool and beach access, towels, beach chairs, and cocktail hour.
- The hotel offers complimentary drinks nightly from 7pm to 8pm for all guests (well drinks only). In addition, the hotel also offers a daily complimentary airport shuttle to and from Miami International Airport on a fixed schedule. Hotel is not responsible for missing a flight due to unforeseen circumstances such as traffic or mechanical problems with the shuttle.

My business trip to the South Beach was supposed to be a week long ordeal. But I got the deal wrapped up within 2 days. I decided to spend the remaining 5 days at the Catalina Hotel anyway. Thank God I did! In the leisure, I was able to do complete justice to the Vietnamese pork dumplings at Kung Fu restaurant. The days spent at the Beach club, just across the street were pretty therapeutic for my stressed body. And when I returned to my suite at night, a pristine, comfy bed awaited me. Will be coming back for sure!

I fell in love with my room especially because of the huge plasma TV that was perfect for watching the World Cup Finals this year. The soft and cozy bed and the mini bar were the added attractions. My boyfriend and I are complete music buffs and whenever we wanted to listen to music, we would put on the CD player that was provided in our room. The amenities such as the towels, bathrobes, and comforters gave us the feeling of being in “a home away from home” in the true sense.

Catalina Hotel is pretty well known for the Beach Club, located just across the street. So, once my chum and I checked into our South Beach Rock Star suite, the first thing we did was to hit the beach. The rest was awesome. The crowd was energetic, and the hot girls staying at the hotel provided plenty of eye candy. Plus, we got to play our stereos loud all the way to 1 am, without someone threatening to break the door down. Will be coming back with the other dudes pretty soon!

I was attending a business meeting in the city, and the client was paying for my stay. When I checked in at Catalina, I chose a suite under the option “It’s a small world”. Thank God I did. The space was just perfect for me, and the client was delighted to see the highly affordable bill. On top of that, the staff members were professional in attitude, and I must say the food and drinks were excellent. I don’t know about the other rooms, but for solo business trips, the option I chose is definitely unbeatable.

Never thought that my vacation would be such a pleasurable experience. My wife and I spent the best days of our lives, and what added to the fun was the location and ambience of the hotel. It was like living in a paradise, away from the hustle-n-bustle of the metropolitan cities. My wife is little careful about choosing a boarding house that has got the best amenities – but here, she had no complaints. We thoroughly relished our stay in the deluxe suite which had upgraded washrooms, plasma television, together with a very courteous in-room service. Thanks to Catalina – we discovered our lost passion!
