Important Hotel Information
- This hotel requires guests to provide a valid credit card in order to check in.
- The hotel charges a 15 per night, per room resort fee (recovery fee), which will be collected directly by the hotel at check-in. This fee includes use of the following: wireless Internet, airport shuttle, local phone calls up to 15 minutes, pool and beach access, towels, beach chairs, and cocktail hour.
- The hotel offers complimentary drinks nightly from 7pm to 8pm for all guests (well drinks only). In addition, the hotel also offers a daily complimentary airport shuttle to and from Miami International Airport on a fixed schedule. Hotel is not responsible for missing a flight due to unforeseen circumstances such as traffic or mechanical problems with the shuttle.

OK, I travel a lot, usually on business and usually in really nice places (Hyatt, Marriott, etc). This hotel is funky and wierd, but for a mostly pleasure trip it was clean and a good value, and looking back I'd say it was a positive adventure. The prices around South Beach are rediculous, so I thought $ a night was about the lowest I could go and find somewhere nice and clean. I stayed with my wife and she's pretty picky about smells, cleanliness, etc. Other than the hot, poorly lit hallways the place was fine. The room was clean, bright, and plenty of space. The bed was wonderful. Everything worked, although the window did leak a little water during tropical storm Fay. No biggie. The location is great if you want to cruise the shops and night life, not to mention a zillion great restaurants within a few blocks walk. They served free drinks (well) in the bar from 7-8 nightly, which really was a great deal considering the place charged $12 for a rum and coke the rest of the time. There's a liquor store two doors down so you can always stock up in the room. We ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant one morning and it was really good and reasonably priced. The whole place has a ""college student"" feel to it, with a really young staff and art deco decor. The bar was packed each night with students, but we didn't have any problems with noise. We didn't use the pools, but they sure looked nice and inviting. Honestly, it was fun staying here. I felt like it was a quirky, interesting getaway place, and sure beat spending $ a night at one of the 5-star hotels. I'd stay there again.

My wife and I recently went here to stay for 6 days for our anniversary. This place has no business being rated a 3 star hotel. All I can say is that I have stayed at many places all over the country and the world and this probably the worst place I have ever stayed at. I have to admit that we only stayed one night even though it was paid for in full for 6 days. We ended up moving and average Holiday Inn and it was 10 times better than this place.

The hotel lobby has a dirty, dead looking rug on the floor. The white tile is not so "white". The staff was okay. The rooms were very small and disappointing, nothing like it looks on the internet. The bathroom is a joke, you have barely any room to move and i am a small person. The carpet had carpet fresh still sprinked on it in the hallways. This hotel was so bad we left that same day and got a hotel somewhere else. Save your money go somewhere nicer for less money.

There are simply too many bad things to list them all. Let's just say between the lack of air conditioning, incapable staff, and misleading website, this hotel almost ruined our vacation. For the money, you can stay at several other hotels in the area, any one of which is far superior to this dump.

after reading some of the reviews on this hotel my friends and i were pretty nervouse, upon our arrival and to the end of our stay the door men were always polite and always helped with questions. One even went out of his way to get us some ice, the rooms were modern and cute, and the bamboo encircled pool came in handy, We had an awsome time staying here, I'm glad that we didn't let other reviews of this place ruin our expectation because we got more than we bargained for.
