- This hotel requires guests to provide a valid credit card in order to check in.
- The hotel charges a 15 per night, per room resort fee (recovery fee), which will be collected directly by the hotel at check-in. This fee includes use of the following: wireless Internet, airport shuttle, local phone calls up to 15 minutes, pool and beach access, towels, beach chairs, and cocktail hour.
- The hotel offers complimentary drinks nightly from 7pm to 8pm for all guests (well drinks only). In addition, the hotel also offers a daily complimentary airport shuttle to and from Miami International Airport on a fixed schedule. Hotel is not responsible for missing a flight due to unforeseen circumstances such as traffic or mechanical problems with the shuttle.

I stayed at the Catalina July 22-July 29th 2010 and the hotel was great. We stayed in the Dorset Bldg which is right above the Sushi resturant. We were on the 2 nd floor which was very quite to me. I would recommend #207 or #208. Our room had a King size bed and we had the Flat screen on the Wall and yes they do have Cable. The Bed is soooo...comfortable me and my husband did not want to get up. The extra ammenties that they offer are awesome. The happy was the best part. Free Drinks for 1 hr. Oh go to the main Bldg.. The Bartender Levi is the BEST!!!! The location was also good. We Where right across from the beach and 2 blocks to Ocean Drive. Also great Bars on the strip as well. The Main Pool and the rooftop was also good. Yeah the hallway was a little dark but I think that is the feel that the hotel wanted to give. I would say that that hotel has a Morroccan Feeling. They also have enetainment every night. Fridays is OLD SCHOOL RB. For anyone 21-38 this is defintely the hotel for you. I cant say what the other 2 bldgs rooms looked like. But if you ever have a chance to stay at the Catalina I would recommend the Dorset Bldg.

General, the hotel is good for the price we paid per night. The hotel staff is very helpful and polite. The rooms have a minimalist design - I loved it being all white with red. Didnt expect the room to be so so small, there were no bedside dressers or closet. No cable, tv was in a cube compartment, didnt like that, wasnt able to pull out. The nightlife at their beach club / restaurant is was good. Beach and Shops was close by and walking distance. Resort fee was a bit expensive, should of been $* per night with chairs, umbrellas and etc. Now the bad part - the bathroom floor is very cheap looking and small and the lighting in the room was very poor, not enough light. It feels like night even in daytime. Other than that, it is overall a good hotel to stay at. Would recommend this to friends. So i hope catalina take into consideration with my review for some changes.

The room was very small and smelled of Bleach. The location of the hotel was great but so is everything on Collins Avenue. The valet parking always seemed to be an issue with guys not being around. The sushi bar attached to the hotel was awesome. Best sushi I have ever had. Well worth a visit a couple of times. The rooftop pool was pretty neat as well. Overall a C at best.

Even though we had problems with the keys to get into the room a few time our overall experience was execellent. We even decided to stay and extra night and got the room for an execellent rate. The free drinks in happy hour is amazing. The hotel has entertainment every night which I tought it was nice. I would recommend the hotel for a couple looking to relax and have a good time. Also the location is amazing
