I went during a very busy time of year (WMC) so they were able to charge outlandish prices. The room had a great view and you could open the big window and see the ocean as well as hear the DJ playing (allllllll night and very loudly-which we didn't mind) from the hotel next door. The hotel is very outdated. Our room was lavendar, the A/C kept shutting off, we were missing the sign that had the room number on it, somebody actual drew a heart and wrote in the room number on the wall.

First I'll begin with the hotel has pontential it has lots of open space...1st n foremost front desk AGENT ABC. ,this young lady has been fabulous since day one when we were given keys to our room the a.c wasn't working all that well,when we returned to the front desk n explained the situation Erica sent us to a new room which was nice n cool. We had a late flight therefore having to decide what to do when I explained it to Erica she accomadated us , she was helpful. Rest of staff were nice though the service needs improvement, there was no ice on the ice box on our floor, the "BLANKETS WERE HORRIBLE GOD looked like 20yrs old disgusting WHAT HEAD OF HOUSEKEEPING WOULD CONTINUE TO LAY THEM ON THE BEDS ELIMINATE THEM, THAT WILL BE, * ONE LESS NEGATIVE*..The bar lounge was closed,n what seems like bbq area also not in service..let's just say needs some work. ,it seems like Their working on it ,some business ppl. were viewing the grounds which seem like a good thing like I said WORK IN PROGRESS....ABC

Location, Location, Location I stayed, for the third year, at the Continental while attending the Miami Boat Show. As luck would have it I stayed in the exact room as 3 years ago. The room has had zero maintenance. Being able to walking one block to the Boat Show is the only aspect of this overpriced hotel that is worth considering an amenity.
