Hotel room itself was fine, but only had half of a shower door, very unusual. Exterior needed a little updating. The most disapointing aspect was the rooftop bar was closed for renovations and that was one reason I booked this hotel. Also the subway was a bit of a hike. The bed was very comfortable.

It was my first in New York. For the first time in my life, I finally get a a room with a great view without paying extra. Housekeeping was there everyday without me calling. Sometimes there was bad reception with the tv. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to experience dining at their rooftop since it was under renovation.

I've stayed at the Bentley on and off for years and always loved it. It's very chic and I often get a corner room, which is spacious with a king bed. I like looking over the East River, and I like being able to walk to museums, the park, and the theater district. There's no restaurant but tons of them close by. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but it's a cool place. They should throw in free internet though - charging is so old school.

Overall not a bad hotel, just not close to any subway stations. We had to walk 6 blocks to get to the closest one. There are just a few quirks; #1 no ice machine, have to call front desk for ice?!?! #2 no free WiFi?!? What major hotel makes you pay $10 a day. #3 The rooms and bath have gone under some remodel, and looks nice, but there is only one pane of glass to act as a shower curtian. The back half of the tub is exposed, and yes water gets all over the floor?!?
