Not impressed. The room needed to be vaccumed--carpets were visibly dirty (i.e., hair). The restaurant employees argued in front of patrons about who would perform certain tasks, at the expense of servicing customers (us!) One positive note...no sign of bed bugs!!!

This hotel has a beautiful lobby, elevators, and rooms. Room service took care of all of my needs. The top floor restaurant has unbelievable views, though the breakfast buffet was overpriced for the amount of options it offered. In all I was throughly pleased with what I received for the price that I paid, which was far below comparable hotels in the area.

The room was a good size with two queen beds. Very clean and sylish. We had a great view of Roosevelt Island. It was right off the highway and has parking making it very easy to get too. The staff was pleasant and it is in a great location. One can easily walk to Central Park and there are many resturants in the vacinity. We really enjoyed our stay. We would do it again.

This hotel nickle and dimes you for everything you touch!! Upon arrival, we were told we had a "free" upgrade and were moved from the upper floor (with a view) to a room on the second floor right above the busy street. HORRIBLE restaurant (of 4 appetizers on the menu, ALL 4 are deep fried!) $11.50- for a 4oz martini, 45 MINUTES to have ice delivered to the room (there are no machines accessible to the public as most hotels have). Doesn't make up for the beautiful modern decor in the rooms.

I absolutely loved their bigger than king size beds and soft sheets! I've been to plenty of hotels and I do not like sleeping in hotel beds, but this place had the most comfortable bed. The staff was very nice and accommodating. They even allowed me to leave my luggage for a few hours on the day that I was leaving, so that I could roam the city without it. I'm not sure if their price is good for NYC or not which I guess is my only real negative comment about this place.
