On the last night of our weeklong trip we stayed here. My wife and I got a good deal on the hotel and it is right on the Mediterranean coast within view of the main flight path for the airport, so we watched flights land as we looked out our patio door. Overall it was a nice modern hotel with $3 Coke machines, two pools, and efficient hall/room lights. Two minor and one major issue occurred…the pillows were uncomfortably flat, and the phone had no cord so they had to come up to the room to wake us (which they did on time). The major concern was the airport/hotel transportation. They did NOT have a shuttle and a taxi cost 19 Euros!!! Each way!!! We didn’t know that, and the night before left we returned the rental car at the airport and took the train into the center of Malaga (cheap and fun). Upon return to the airport we found out the taxi’s cost and NO alternative other than walking. Likewise, the next morning…another taxi trip. That was the only real disappointment. Save your rental car for the drive to the airport the next day (otherwise your hotel stay will feel 38 Euros more expensive).

I was simply looking for a decent hotel with parking for one night until we could get into a time share. For the fee, I didn't know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. Everything about this hotel was outstanding--i.e. the room, room location and the view, hotel staff, location on the sea, breakfast--included in the room rental fee--parking, etc. I don't exaggerate. The beach was better than those further south--not the sand, but its entry into the water was better and was somewhat protected. I wish we'd had time to stay longer. My only complaint is that it was hard to find. Road/hotel signage was sparse, if existent, and we could find no map that included the immediate area of the hotel in detail, so come prepared.
