Important Hotel Information
- Please be informed that the hotels swimming pool will be closed from December 10th to December 20th 2012 for renovation. The pool repair will not cause any major noise and safety barricades will be properly placed so as not to disturb our guests.
- The Marseilles Hotel pool located next door will be available to serve all our guests so they can still enjoy sunbathing and swimming during their visit.

Our ocean view room had an air conditioner that was very loud for about 2 minutes an hour. The available rooms I was shown to re-locate ranged from dark and dank with the atmosphere of an alley out the window to ones with barely working AC. We kept the ocean view and put up with the noise for a few minutes an hour. Beware of the non- refundable standard rooms, there is a reason for this designation, they are the dark and dank and hot rooms. The front desk was cranky, I guess i should have just accepted anything they gave me. The rest of the staff, bartenders, maids, pool were very pleasant and efficient. The pool area is pleasant and well kept. Beach chairs and umbrella on the beach are $10 and $15 daily, same with most hotels, you can make a deal for multiple days. 4 days of 2 chairs and an umbrella was $100, the sun is brutal so you need and umbrella.

We checked into our ocean view room and the AC was super loud for about 2 minutes every hour. Other rooms we were shown were dark, dank, with poor AC, so we kept the ocean view with a promise it would be looked at and fixed the next day. Never fixed, we listened to it a couple of times rather than stay in a dungeon room. The front desk personnel are very cranky with a take-it-or-leave-it attitude. The rest of the staff were very pleasant. Proximity to the beach and a nice pool area make it a great location, but they should get with it on the hospitality, damp smell and lousy ACs in many room. The ""standard, no refund"" rooms are listed that way for a reason, get ocean front or view or go elsewhere.

Would definetly stay again. Highly recommended. Stayed for 4 days and was worth the money. Rooms are clean and modern. Bed is comfy. Staff was great. Anything I needed the helped me. It is in a great location. You can walk everywhere so you really don't need a car.You can use the pool or walk out the back gate to the beach. Unlimited towels. Only thing bad I could say would be food was okay and the really didn't have a gym more like a treadmill with a couple of dumbells. But don't take my word for it, go see it for yourself. You won't be disappoined.
