Spent 4 days in June. Received great package deal on a budget vacation. Pros: The location is steps away from presidio park, a short walk to the marina, fishermans wharf and restaurants on lombard and chestnut streets. Free parking (did not move car). Safe area. Staff in office very helpful. Room furnishings old but mattress was comfortable and room was very clean. Cons: Bathrooms small-utilized area for coffe pot for vanity. Low water pressure but lots of hot water. Fans in bathroom very noisy. Walls were thin but in reading other reviews of higher end hotels they had the same issue. We spent very little time in room as there are a million other things to do in san fran and chose to spend our vacation dollars elsewhere (like on great food/beverages). If you are used to staying in resorts and are expecting high end service or accomadations this is not for you. If, however, you just need a clean place to sleep/shower and don't require a lot of personalized attention and know how to make do and spend your money elsewhere this is a great place. Again..location, location, location!!!

The location was excellent. Very close to the Bay-walkable distance. Very safe part of town, lots of restaurants and shops nearby. First time in SF, adapted very easily. Some staff were more helpful than others. The manager was not personable and rude. Decent, standard hotel room. A little small, but manageable. I liked it all except management. I will probably try somewhere else to stay next time. Parking lot fills up quick on the weekends! Beware if you've got a car! Bus system very easy to use, convenient!

My family and I stayed in this hotel last summer. We were very pleased with our room and the location of this hotel. The hotel staff was helpful. It is very close the the MUNI/bus stop and the deli around the corner is a great lunch/snack spot! The parking spaces are limited so taking the bus is a good alternative to loosing your spot.

The room was small, but all we needed was a bed and a hot shower. It was incredibly close to the Golden Gate Bridge and the Expolatorium. WIthin walking distance to MUNI stops. WILL DEFINATLEY STAY AGAIN AT THIS HOTEL. Front office staff was more than courteous. Clean towels and sheets without request. Awesome!

Close to The Presidio, Golden Gate Bridge, Crissy Field, Palace of The Fine Arts, bike paths but far enough away from Fishermans Wharf so not bothered by lots of tourists. Deli next door.Motel is small and clean but not the Ritz. Don't expect a fitness center pr pool. Very nice and helpful staff. A good place to stay if you're looking for activities not connected with a motel. Lots of stuff close by.
